  • Herring (Fillet of herring without skin and bones) - 1 pc
  • Chicken egg - 1 pc
  • Green peas (Canned peas TM "Frau Marta") - 1 tablespoon
  • Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
  • Cucumber - 1 pc
  • Salt - to taste

How to cook herring appetizer step by step with photos


Boil egg (1 egg piece), then chop into small pieces. Add chopped egg to bowl, add canned peas TM "Frau Marta", add mayonnaise, season with salt as needed to taste. Stir the mixture.

Cut herring fillet into slices.

Cut cucumber into strips/tapes. Spread egg and mayonnaise mixture with peas on cucumber strips, then place sliced herring fillets. Roll up cucumber ribbons into rolls, secure with skewers.
