Ingredients for the spinach egg snack:


  • Chicken egg - 6 pcs
  • Spinach (fresh) - 300 g
  • Mayonnaise - 3 tablespoon
  • Mustard (spicy, Dijon) - 1 teaspoon
  • Nutmeg (to taste) - 0.2 teaspoon
  • Tomato (fresh) - 1 pc
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Sweet-scented pepper (to taste)
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Corn (canned) - 1 tablespoon

How to cook spinach egg snack step by step with photos


Boil the eggs, peel them and with the tip of a sharp knife make a notched pattern according to the photo. Cut through the egg white and draw a horizontal line down the middle to the starting point. Holding the egg with both hands, carefully separate the halves.

If the spinach is fresh, poach it in salted water, let it drain, cut it up and chop in a blender. I have a frozen puree. Remove the yolks from the eggs with a spoon, rub them through a sieve and mix with the spinach. Then add salt, pepper, minced garlic, mustard, nutmeg and mayonnaise, pour it into the egg-spinach mixture and mix well again.

Slightly cut the bottoms off in each egg piece (for future stability) and arrange the egg halves on a platter. Now fill the spinach mixture with a pastry syringe with a tip "star". And fill the egg halves.

Top with a yellow corn kernel. Cut the tomato into slices and arrange them around the dish, alternating with the spinach leaves.

I will say that with this additional composition, the healthy and brightly colored spinach suddenly played up. The appetizer turned out bright, delicious, beautiful. And such a picturesque plate will decorate any spring holiday Easter table for sure.
