Frittata is an Italian omelet that is made with fillings of cheese, vegetables, sausage, or meat. Frittata: A cross between a stuffed omelet and a casserole. A traditional rustic frittata contains leeks and cheese. Here is my rendition of this dish. A perfect spring and summer dish.

How to cook spring style frittata step by step with photos

A very easy and delicious recipe. You can make it in a frying pan, or you can make it in the oven. It's up to whomever you like. I made it in different ways and it tastes great. The proportions are as follows per 1 egg 2 tablespoons milk or cream. Parmalat products would be perfect for this recipe. You don't have to whip the mixture very hard, no mixers. In a bowl, beat eggs with milk and salt with a fork or whisk until smooth. For the filling you can use any vegetables, fruit, cheese or whatever you like. Your imagination does not know any limits, you can put whatever you like. First, the recipe for the dish in the oven.

Preheat oven. Heat olive oil in a dish over medium heat. Add 1-2 cloves of garlic cut into 2-3 pieces and cook until golden, after which the garlic can be removed and discarded. Sprinkle a little semolina or breadcrumbs on the bottom, cut up and place the pizza products in the mold

Pour the prepared egg and milk mixture over the toppings. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.

Bake in oven at 180 °F. Till golden color, about 20-30 minutes.

Ready frittata, cut into portions and serve hot. Quick and delicious.

And this is a Frittata cooked in a pan. We will need: 1 eggplant several tomatoes bunch of green onions 3-5 eggs (depends on the diameter of the pan) Soft fatless cheese (e.g. feta) or mozzarella. Preparation: Eggplant is cut into slices and fried in a dry frying pan without oil (eggplant absorbs a lot of oil, and we do not need this, we are preparing a light dish) Add sliced tomatoes and green onions and stew it all together for a while. Sprinkle a little vegetable oil on everything Lightly beat the eggs, salt, add 100 gr. Pour the mixture on vegetables. Spread slices of soft cheese on top, cover the pan with a lid, turn down the heat to minimum and cook the dish until softened. Let cool for a while and then put it on a plate.

Our healthy dish is ready.

Here's another variation. Frittata with celery, mushrooms and cheese. Slice 2 stalks of celery thinly in oblique strips, Pan fry in a frying pan in min. vegetable oil, add 2-3 fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced, Sprinkle mushrooms with suitable seasonings. When the mushrooms are slightly fried, pour the mixture of 3 eggs and 6 tablespoons of milk over the mushrooms, stir them and season with salt. Grate some hard cheese on top, chopped in small cubes. Cover the pan with a lid and cook over low heat until soft. Let cool slightly and then put it on a plate. Very tasty and quick. The celery is fried and there is no spicy celery smell, but the fiber and healthiness of the celery remains. Enjoy the experiments.
