Frittata is an Italian omelet that is made with fillings of cheese, vegetables, sausage, or meat. Frittata: A cross between a stuffed omelet and a casserole. A traditional rustic frittata contains leeks and cheese. Here is my rendition of this dish. A perfect spring and summer dish.

  • Sweet pepper (in stuffing) - 200 g
  • Tomato (in stuffing) - 200 g
  • Champignons (in stuffing) - 100 g
  • Sausages (in stuffing) - 200 g
  • goat cheese (in the stuffing) - 150 g
  • chicken egg (for stuffing) - 5 pcs
  • Milk (for filling) - 100 g
  • Spices (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Garlic - 2 clove
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoon

How to cook spring style frittata step by step with photos

A very easy and delicious recipe. You can make it in a frying pan, or you can make it in the oven. It's up to whomever you like. I made it in different ways and it tastes great. The proportions are as follows per 1 egg 2 tablespoons milk or cream. Parmalat products would be perfect for this recipe. You don't have to whip the mixture very hard, no mixers. In a bowl, beat eggs with milk and salt with a fork or whisk until smooth. For the filling you can use any vegetables, fruit, cheese or whatever you like. When the mushrooms are slightly fried, pour the mixture of 3 eggs and 6 tablespoons of milk over the mushrooms, stir them and season with salt. Grate some hard cheese on top, chopped in small cubes. Cover the pan with a lid and cook over low heat until soft. Let cool slightly and then put it on a plate. Very tasty and quick.
