2 variants. Thai food is spicy and sweet at the same time. But since I don't really like spicy food (my husband does), I decided to use sweet chili pepper instead of the one mentioned in the recipe. Ingredients for Thai style eggs:

  • Chicken egg - 12 pcs
  • Onions - 2 pcs
  • Garlic - 4-5 clove
  • Red hot pepper (fresh chili (I cooked with sweet - 1/2 large pepper - 1/4 each of different colors)) - 2 units

How to cook Thai style eggs step by step with photos

Hard boil eggs, peel. Peel onion and garlic, thinly slice. Halve the bell peppers, remove the seeds. Cut flesh into thin slices. Pour oil into a pot (I have a ladle, and the oil is about half a cup), heat it vigorously. Place onions, garlic and bell peppers. Cook for 2 minutes, then transfer to the paper towels you prepared. Fry eggs in the same oil for about 4-5 minutes. Put them on paper towels to absorb the oil. Put lettuce leaves on the plate (you can do it without them). Lay eggs cut into quarters on top of lettuce. In a small saucepan (or pot), mix soy sauce and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Place the fried onions, garlic and peppers on top of the eggs. Or add coriander or parsley leaves.
