Poltava seasoning

Cooked seasoning Poltava

Nutritional Value

I found this recipe in the magazine "Gastronome School" A couple of years ago and I want to tell you right away that it is not adjika, although it is similar. You can use this spice for first courses (borsch, soups, pickles)... ), second courses (stewed potatoes, meat, stewed cabbage), add it to sauces.

Wash and peel all the vegetables (if the apples have intact skins, they do not need to be peeled). Then cut the vegetables into pieces and chop in a blender or mince with a meat grinder.

Then put them in a pot (bowl) and simmer, stirring over low heat for about an hour. Then add salt. And simmer for another 15-20 minutes. And if you want, you can add crushed garlic (but so that it is not strongly felt, because it is not adjika). I added a little (about a couple of small heads). The mixture itself shouldn't be salty, because. к. It's going to be added to almost finished dishes, and there's going to be salt, too.

Prepared seasoning spread in sterilized jars, close airtight (or roll up). I have about 5 0.5 liter jars out of this amount.5 l. Let cool, store in a cool place.
