  • Pumpkin - 1 kg
  • Carrots (medium) - 2 pcs
  • Onions (medium) - 2 pcs
  • Vegetable oil - 100 ml
  • Garlic - 3 clove
  • Tomato - 400 g
  • Citric acid (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Sweet paprika (to taste)
  • Pepper mixture (to taste)

How to cook pumpkin caviar step by step with photos

Dice the pumpkin, there's no point in pounding it, since you are going to puree it all anyway. We're going to purée it all in any case.

Dice the onion and carrot and fry a little in vegetable oil

Turn tomatoes into mashed potatoes

Mix pumpkin, roasted vegetables and tomatoes. Add oil and stew over low heat until soft. I added a little water, so as not to burn

We use a blender to puree the mousse, add salt, seasoning and citric acid. Cook for another 15 minutes. Then add crushed garlic and fill into jars. Put jars to sterilize for 15 minutes. Close and cover until it cools down

Output are 3 0,5L cans and one small sandwich.
