  • Bell pepper - 1 kg
  • Tomato - 1 kg
  • Apple - 0.5 kg
  • Garlic - 200 g
  • Onion - 0.5 kg
  • Carrots - 0.5 kg
  • Red hot pepper (small) - 1 pc
  • Sunflower oil - 0.5 glass
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Vinegar (9%) - 1/2 glass

How to cook vegetable caviar like adjika step by step with photos


Peppers should be washed and cut in large chunks, seeds removed, apples should be peeled and sliced into garlic slices, onions into slices.

Cut tomatoes in half, remove stalks.

Grind through a meat grinder.

Fill with oil, add 1 tablespoon of salt and sugar (you may need to add more later, it depends on taste)

Stir everything, boil for 1 hour to 1.5 hours (taste, it should be soft).

Add vinegar and place in sterile jars (sauce bottles, juice bottles)
