I decided to cook it and I did not fail, it pleased everyone. Now our winter is not over without these caviar)))) I invite all the cooks to taste it and enjoy it!

Ingredients for vegetable caviar with beets and apples:


  • Beets - 1 kg
  • Carrots - 1 kg
  • Tomato - 2,5 kg
  • Apple - 1 kg
  • Onions - 1 kg
  • Garlic - 200 g
  • Red hot pepper - 1/2 pc
  • Sugar (you can have 3 if the tomatoes are sour) - 2 tablespoon
  • Vinegar essence ((70%)) - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt (may be to taste) - 3 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 glass

How to cook vegetable caviar with beets and apples step by step with photos


Prepare apples...

... garlic...

... tomatoes...

... And the rest of vegetables.

First mince the apples through a meat grinder to make them juice.

Then put the vegetables, except for the tomatoes, in random order.

Then put the apples and vegetables into a pan and add chopped tomatoes.

Pour in the vegetable oil.

Taste and season with salt. I have 3 tbsp. spoon.

Stir, then simmer for 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Add sugar and vinegar essence 15 minutes before it is ready. Spread into sterilized jars, wrap and cover until cool. Approximately 5 liters of finished product.
