Delicious home-salted fish. You can salt any salmon or other fish the same way.

How to cook dry salted chum salmon step by step with photos

Make a fillet of chum salmon |

Mix 3 parts salt, 2 parts sugar, 1 part spices you like for the fish |

Grease the bottom of the bowl with oil and put a few bay leaves |
|
Dip one side of the fillet in the mixture of sugar, salt and spices |
|
Place a layer of fillets salt side down, brush with oil, add a few bay leaves, and continue to layer until you have the whole fillet. Brush the top with oil, add the bay leaves and sprinkle with the salt, sugar and allspice mixture |

Cover with a plate of suitable size, press down slightly and leave in the fridge for three days |
