How to cook herring step by step with photos
|
Buy herring.
If you know a seller, he will help you choose a herring with caviar. |
|
Cut off the head, the fin and carefully along the middle of the backbone not too deep into the skin. Do not touch the tail.
(In the photo I hurried up and cut off the tail. The tail we leave. It will be useful.) |
|
We take off the skin from the head. |
|
Cut off the abdomen. (If I do not confuse - calves)
Take out intestines, roe or milt (as luck would have it)
Clean the abdomen. |
|
Now the most interesting thing, which was a revelation to me.
We take a herring by its tail, turn it through the tail and tear it carefully in different directions. |
|
Carefully separate into fillets, check for remaining bones and that's it.
Just like in cartoons. The meat is separated - the bones are separated. (But the bones should be checked with a finger - there are still bones)
Further on it is up to you.
Cut onion rings, herring in small pieces.
Fry potatoes, sprinkle with fresh dill and serve with other liquid foods. |
