A very easy to prepare appetizer with canned tuna, black lentils and onions, looks great on the holiday table. You can make this appetizer for New Year table. Black lentils look very similar to black caviar, and your guests will be surprised by this appetizer.

Ingredients for a fish snack with black lentils:


  • Tuna (canned) - 100 g
  • Lentils (black TM "Mistral") - 1 tablepoon
  • Red Onion (small) - 1 pc
  • Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper (ground) - to taste
  • Dill (Greens for decoration)
  • Cranberries (for decoration)

How to cook fish snack with black lentils step by step with photos


Finely chop red onion, add lemon juice, stir and let marinate for 15-20 minutes.

While the onions are marinating, boil in TM lentils "Mistral", as directed on the package.

Drain the oil from the canned tuna, mash it with a fork and add to the marinated onion.

Add boiled black lentils and ground black pepper.

Stir.

Spoon the snack and garnish with red onion rings, greens and cranberries.
