Ingredients for forshmak "jubilee":


  • Herring - 1 pc
  • Potatoes (medium) - 2 pcs
  • Onions (medium) - 1 pc
  • Hard cheese - 100 g
  • Baton (slices) - 3 pcs
  • Milk - 200 ml
  • Chicken egg (boiled) - 2 pcs
  • vegetable oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Black pepper (to taste)

How to cook forshmak "jubilee" step by step with photos


Let's start the cooking of forshmak by peeling the herring from bones and skin. Boil potatoes in jacket. Start to mince in a meat grinder, first the herring, then the onion. Next, we twist the peeled boiled potatoes.

Then we grind up the cheese. Soak loaf in milk, squeeze and mince in meat grinder.

Cut boiled eggs into medium sized cubes and add to the mashed potatoes.

Mix well, add oil and butter. Add pepper to taste. Forshmak ready, you can please yourself and your family. Enjoy!!
