Ingredients for hake in vegetable sauce:


  • Hake (fillet) - 0.5 kg
  • Wheat flour / Flour (for frying)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Onions (medium) - 1 pc
  • Basil - 1 teaspoon
  • Tomato paste - 1.5 tablespoon
  • Carrots - 50 g
  • Root celery - 50 g
  • Parsnip (root) - 50 g
  • Salt - to taste
  • Red hot pepper - to taste
  • Sugar - to taste

How to cook hake with vegetable sauce step by step with photos


Heat a pan, fry fish in flour on it. Place the fried fish on a plate.

For the sauce: cut in julienne strips carrot and celery root, parsnip, onion. Put everything in a pan and fry gently for 3 minutes, add the tomato and fry a couple more minutes with the vegetables and onion, then pour water and add basil (grind with your fingers), add salt, sugar and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer until the carrots are tender.

Pour hot sauce over the fish. Allow fish to sour. Enjoy!!!
