Herring Butter

I saw a similar recipe on Gal4oNek's site, but I think it's herring butter, not herring butter. I got this recipe from my mother-in-law and have been making it for about 15 years (minimum ingredients, minimum time spent). If I'm wrong, I'll delete the recipe... this is my first time adding a recipe.
Ingredients for herring butter:
-
Herring
(filet)
-
400 g
-
Butter
-
500 g
-
Chicken egg
-
2 pcs
How to cook herring butter step by step with photos
|
Take the butter out of the refrigerator and let it soften at room temperature, so that it becomes quite soft (so it will be easier to work with it). Boil some hard boiled eggs. |
|
Cut the herring fillets into chunks and beat them in a blender. |
|
Add chopped eggs to the blender and mix it well. |
|
Add the herring and egg mixture to the soft butter and blend until smooth. I do it with the same blender, but you can also just use a spoon. |
|
The butter is ready, you just need to put it in a container, covered with clingfilm and keep in the freezer for an hour or so. You get quite a lot of herring butter. I usually divide it into two portions: while the homemakers devour one portion, the other can be safely stored in the freezer. |
