Ingredients for herring forshmak

  • Herring (lightly salted) - 2 units
  • Bread (white) - 2 slices.
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoon
  • Chicken egg (boiled) - 4 pcs
  • Apple (green) - 1 pc
  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Green onions - 25 g
  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Vinegar - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)

How to cook herring foreshmak step by step with photos

Rinse and peel herring, remove bones, mince fillet and pound through meat grinder

Leave head and tail!

Soak 2 slices of white bread (without crusts) in milk

Cut apple and onion into large slices, Then put the apple and herring minced meat together with squeezed bread and boiled egg whites through a mincer.
