  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 1 bunch.
  • Mustard (French) - 2 tablespoon
  • Vinegar (for marinade herring) - 1 teaspoon

How to cook herring on a bed of onions and apples step by step with photos

Cut the onions in half rings and put them on a dish. Cut herring into fillets and put them onion. To prepare the dressing mix vinegar and vegetable oil. Pour the sauce over the herring and onion, cover and let herring marinate for 20 minutes.
