How to cook herring currants step by step with photos

We need two lightly salted herring fillets. I always salt them myself. I throw herring from the bones and marinade: 0,5 l water, 1 tablepoon salt, 0,5 tablepoon sugar, 1 tablepoon apple cider vinegar, black pepper, coriander, bay leaves. And that's how we keep the fillets overnight. In the morning, a nice salted herring! |
We mash the butter with the finely chopped dill. |
After we take herring out of marinade we put it dry on paper towel and generously butter it. |
Let's make a roll. We have got such beauties. We put them in the freezer for 20 minutes till the butter hardens completely. |
Slice the rolls thinly into rings. Very tasty with homemade bread! |
