Ingredients for herring tartare with avocado and chili:

  • Herring (lightly salted) - 1 pc
  • Avocado (large) - 1 pc
  • White onion (small bulb)
  • Lettuce leaves / Lettuce (leafy) - 4-5 pcs
  • Chili pepper (to taste)
  • Salt (marine, to taste)
  • Black pepper (ground, to taste)
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1-2 teaspoon

How to cook herring tartare with avocado and chili step by step with photos

Remove head, guts, backbone, bones and skin from herring, cut into fillets and dice herring.

Peel and peel the avocado. Rinse and dice, drizzle with lemon. Finely chop sweet onion, chili pepper, lettuce.

Add herring to the vegetables. Season with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and season with freshly ground black pepper.

Arrange the tartar on a plate with a serving ring.

Decorate with a boiled quail egg, a sprig of any herbs, serve with fresh crusty bread and a shot of misted ;)
