Ingredients for homemade herring #1:


  • Herring (fresh-frozen) - 1 kg
  • Onions (onions are very tasty, I put a lot of them, but you can also put less) - 2 pcs
  • Sugar - 0.5 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil (I use unrefined) - 0.5 glass
  • Salt - 2 tablespoon
  • Tomato paste - 3 tablespoon
  • Vinegar - 5 tablespoon
  • Black pepper (ground) - 1 teaspoon

How to cook herring #1 step by step with photos


Prepare marinade: herring. oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, tomato. Stir well, bring to boil, then cool.
