I love mussels, especially julienne. I make it without mushrooms and without any "extraneous" . Looked at the website of recipes, but there is no such thing as mine. Can be served as an appetizer or as a dish in its own right. Cooked in a jiffy, no hassle. And the taste ......) who likes mussels, you'll understand. So, please, come to the table) P.S. I made 8 servings of julienne with the given amount of products. 100ml cocotte

How to cook julienne with mussels without mushrooms step by step with photos

First let's prepare the mussels. I use boiled frozen ones. For that, put the frozen mussels in boiling water and wait for the first signs of boiling again. Once it comes to a boil, drain it and set it aside.

Now prepare the sauce. Melt the butter in a pan, add the flour. I like a light sauce. If you like it thicker, you can add 2 tablespoons. Fry a bit. Add cream gradually so no lumps form. Season with salt, bring to a boil, then remove from heat.

Grate the cheese on a fine grater

Now "put together" julienne. Place the mussels in the cocotte, about halfway through.

Pour the sauce into the cauldrons with the mussels just under the edge.

Sprinkle with cheese and put in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Let the cheese melt and brown.

Take out the ready julienne from the oven. And we decorate it with caviar and greens. This time I made julienne without caviar, I don't buy caviar especially for julienne. And when there is caviar at home I put a coffee spoonful on the median in a pile, sprinkle the greens around. Julienne is ready. Bon appetit! 😉
