Lightly salted grayling

Cooked Pickled Grayling

Time to cook: 15 minutes

Nutritional Value

Grayling is a fat, meaty fish that belongs to the family of salmon. This fish makes an excellent dish of any kind! It can be boiled, baked, fried or braised, but I like it best salted. The same recipe is used to salt Lenok.

How to cook salted grayling step by step with photos

Peel, gut and wash the fish.

Cut into small pieces about 1 cm thick.

Cut the onions into rings. Sprinkle some salt on the bottom of the bowl and arrange our fish in a layer. Sprinkle salt, a little pepper on top, put onion rings and some chopped garlic. Grayling is a fish that can be spoiled by spices, so use a minimum of spices.

Repeat layers.

Cover fish and plate with a little crumbs.

Leave at room temperature until ready to serve, about a day.

We taste it in an hour or two. Enjoy!!!
