A few minutes' work, 24 hours in the freezer, and you've got a perfectly good, lightly salted mackerel on the table, an appetizer that will be one of the first to leave the table. For such a wonderful idea thanks Vika!

How to cook a loosely salted mackerel roll step by step with photos
Cut mackerel into fillets or take ready-made.
Salt and pepper the fillet. |
Sprinkle with finely minced garlic. |
Overlap the fish and roll up tightly.
Wrap the roll in parchment and put in freezer for 24 hours. |
We take it out and send it to the fridge to thaw a little - I was cutting thin circles at once from the freezer, not very even rings came out from the edges, but then such even circles went, I could see not very tightly rolled up the roll at first. |
I served it with mixed - marinated gherkins, pickled mushrooms, onions and lightly salted mackerel.
Very tasty!
Store the roll in the freezer!!! |
