I was lucky enough to see this marinating method in a cooking magazine, I wanted to try it, the mackerel is very spicy and tasty! Sharing with all soy sauce lovers.
Ingredients for mackerel in ginger-soy marinade:
- Mackerel - 1 pc
- Lemon - 0.5 pc
- Ginger (3 cm of fresh ginger root)
- Soy sauce (TM Kikkoman Teriyaki) - 2 tablespoon
- Sugar (no topping, can be left off if desired) - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - to taste
How to cook mackerel in ginger-soy marinade step by step with photos
Fillet the mackerel and cut into small pieces.
Grate ginger root on a shredding drum.
Add lemon juice, sugar (ingredients to taste only) and soy sauce.
