  • Mussels (cooked-frozen) - 500 g
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 1 glass
  • Tomato juice (with salt) - 1 glass
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Sauce (Blue Dragon Sweet Chili) - 2 tablespoon
  • Yeast (dry) - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Salt - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 0.5 tablespoon

How to cook mussels in tomato batter step by step with photos


Mix warm tomato juice with yeast, add 1tablespoon vegetable oil, sugar, salt

Stir in a cup of flour

Cover and leave in warm place for 30min. The dough should be as thick as pancakes

Thaw mussels and drain. Remove mussels and remove "beard" (Rinse and drain in a colander then mix with Blue Dragon Sweet Chili Sauce

Fry mussels in hot oil, coating them in batter beforehand
