Main

  • Shrimp (small) - 30 pcs
  • Vinegar - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoon

  • Chili pepper (Dried can also be used) - 1/2 Piece
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Onion (medium sized) - 1/4 pc
  • Spices (other spices to taste) - 1 tablespoon

How to cook pickled shrimp step by step with photos


Rinse frozen shrimp with cold water.

Put them in a saucepan, add water and put on low heat. Add a bay leaf and a teaspoon of some spice mixture, such as honeysuneli. Bring to the boil and remove from heat. Let the shrimp cool down in cold water and peel.

Prepare spices, the main ones are bay leaf, pepper, garlic, onion, chili pepper, cloves, coriander seeds and herbs, celery seed. If you don't have anything on hand, it's not a big deal.

Put peeled shrimp and spices in a jar of suitable size. Add salt, vinegar and pour oil on top. The vinegar can be replaced with lemon juice. Cover the jar and put it in the fridge. Ready for the next 24 hours. Can be kept for longer.
