Ingredients for the mousse from salmon and dill jelly:

  • Salmon (smoked fillet) - 150 g
  • Sour cream - 150 g
  • Gelatin (I have 6+3 in mousse plates for jelly) - 9 g
  • Salt (for mousse and jelly)
  • Yogurt (no additives) - 150 g
  • Dill - 1 teaspoon
  • Cream (33-35%) - 80 g

How to cook salmon mousse with dill jelly step by step with photos

Soak gelatin in water and let it swell. Squeeze out, heat a few spoonfuls of sour cream and dissolve the gelatine in it. Grind fish with remaining sour cream and pinch salt in blender. Add gelatine dissolved in sour cream and mix well. Whip cream and stir into fish mixture.

Fill into cake tin, put into fridge for 15 minutes. place in fridge.

Soak the gelatine for jelly in the same way as for the mousse. Heat a little yogurt, season with salt, add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Finely chop dill and add to yogurt and pour fish mousse on top.Place in fridge and let it set. Remove the molds and decorate just before serving.
