Ingredients for Salmon Tartare:


  • Salmon (freshly salted) - 150 g
  • Cucumber (fresh) - 100 g
  • Red onion - 1 pc
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) - 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce (Kikkoman) - 2 tablespoon
  • Sesame (seeds) - 2 teaspoon
  • Bun (toast) - 7 slices.
  • Greens (salad leaves, dill) - to taste

How to cook salmon tartar step by step with photos


Cut fresh cucumber into small cubes.

Slice onions.

Then finely chop the salmon.

Pour on the oil, soy sauce and lemon juice. Sprinkle a teaspoon of toasted sesame seeds and mix together.

Toast the bun with the seeds in a toaster.

Cut it into triangles.

Place the lettuce leaves in the center of a large plate. Put the tartar in a square (or round) mold, flatten a little with a spoon, and pile in the center of the plate on the leaves.

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Place tartar on bun slices and top with dill sprigs.
