Ingredients for smoked mackerel pate with pink pepper:

  • Mackerel (hot smoked or any other fish) - 300 g
  • cream cheese (soft) - 3 tablespoon
  • horseradish (grated cream cheese) - 2 teaspoon
  • Butter - 80 g
  • Dill - 1 bunch.
  • Lemon (juice and zest) - 0.5 pcs
  • Pink pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Allspice (freshly ground)
  • Toast (to serve) - 6 pcs

How to cook smoked mackerel paste with pink pepper step by step with photos

Peel fish of skin and bones, cut into pieces

Grind the pink pepper in a mortar

Mix melted butter, cheese, horseradish and pepper.

Squeeze out the juice and zest of half a lemon.

Mix all the ingredients, season with salt and pepper.

Serve on toast.
