  • Sour cream - 150 ml
  • White pepper - to taste
  • Lemon peel (from) - 1 pc
  • Chicken egg - 1 pc
  • Puff pastry - 450 g
  • Red caviar - 1 tablespoon
  • Black caviar - 1 tablespoon

How to cook appetizer "snowflake" step by step with photos

Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 12 11 cm long diamond shapes with a cookie cutter.. Make the slices from 6 of the lozenges. Grease the slices with egg and place them with the greased side down on the loaves. If you do not have such a frame, make stencils from cardboard or paper. To do this, make a circle, about 22 cm in diameter, and divide it into 6 rhombi.

Arrange the diamonds in a star shape on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Place them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Then brush the loaves with beaten egg and bake for 15-20 minutes. Let cool. Arrange the baked tartlets on a plate. Mix sour cream, zest and pepper. Sprinkle a few capers on top of each tartlet and top with sour cream mixture. Cut the salmon into strips, roll up into a rose shape and place in the center of the tartlets. Spoon red and black caviar into the corners of the diamonds.
