  • Squid - 10 pcs
  • Salt (to taste) - 1 teaspoon
  • Sweet paprika (smoked) - 2 teaspoon
  • Red Hot Pepper - 0.5 teaspoon

How to cook spicy calamari rolls step by step with photos

Thaw calamari, then peel from entrails and membranes. Cut off part with "Wings". You don't need it. The squids can be boiled and used in a salad for example.

Cut the straight part to a flat slice and beat it with a hammer

Mix the salt, smoked paprika and hot red pepper.

Sprinkle this mixture over the squid fillets and roll up

Wrap each roll tightly in foil and wrap the edges like a " candy". Bring water to the boil in a pot, boil rolls right in foil for about 10 minutes. Then take out of the water, let cool to room temperature and put in the fridge overnight so that the rolls can cool completely, fix in shape and soak in salt and spices.
