Ingredients for spicy herring in quince sauce:

  • Fish fillet (light salted herring) - 3 units
  • Mayonnaise (TM "Maheev") - 100 g
  • Mustard (grain) - 1 tablepoon
  • Chili pepper (I have a sweet and spicy kind. If hot, a little to taste) - 0.5 pt
  • Quince - 0,5 pcs
  • Olive oil - 100 g
  • Allspice - to taste

How to cook herring in quince sauce step by step with photos

Pour mayonnaise in a bowl.

Put mustard on it.

Dice bell peppers into small cubes and add to mayonnaise.

Rinse and grate quince. Add them to a bowl.

Mix everything, adding oil and pepper.

Cut herring fillets into slices and mix with mayonnaise and quince sauce. Let stand for at least 15 minutes.
