  • Squid (rings) - 100 g
  • soy sauce (Kikkoman) - 5 tablespoon
  • Vinegar (apple) - 1 tablespoon
  • Oregano - 1 tablespoon
  • Cloves - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 5 tablespoon
  • Sweet paprika - 1 tablespoon
  • Bay leaf - 2 pcs
  • Parsley (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)

How to cook squid marinated in soy sauce step by step with photos


In a saucepan bring olive oil to boil, add oregano, paprika, pepper, cloves, bay leaf, salt.

Let the marinade stand for 20 minutes and then gently add the apple cider vinegar and soy sauce.

Boil the squid rings for three minutes.

Cover the squids in the marinade and leave for two hours in the fridge.

The squid is soft and tender with a delicate flavor. Before serving, you can sprinkle the calamari with lemon juice and serve with the greens.
