Ingredients for squid on a skewer:


  • Squid (peeled) - 200 g
  • Potatoes (small, boiled) - 250 g
  • Sunflower oil - 5 tablespoon
  • Parsley (small) - 1 bunch.
  • Mint (small) - 1 bunch.
  • Basil (small) - 1 bunch.
  • Garlic (or stalk of young garlic) - 1-2 clove
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Spices (salt, pepper)

How to cook squid on skewers step by step with photos


Halve the potatoes, salt and pepper them and fry in half of the sunflower oil in a hot pan.

Cut the calamari into big chunks and fry them in the remaining oil in the same pan on both sides until golden brown.

Spread a little sauce on each half of the potatoes. For the sauce, mince the garlic and herbs in a blender and drizzle with olive oil.

Put a slice of squid on top and staple with a skewer.

Enjoy!
