sterlet fish has an unusual taste and I think in any form HE is very tasty but my wife and I found our favorite flavor and it was suggested by our known fishermen SO SOFT AND VERY YEAK!!!!

Ingredients for the sterlet cheese:


  • Fish (Preferably fresh not frozen) - 1 kg
  • Salt (I prefer coarse salt) - 1 tablepoon
  • Dill (I prefer dill from my garden or I get it from Grannies it is more fragrant) - 1 bunch.
  • Garlic - 2 clove

How to cook sterlet steppe step by step with photos


Wash and clean off the mucus from the head to the tail with a knife

Cut off the top spines. I prefer this method of cutting

Cut from head to tail

Cut head and tail into pieces. The head and tail are very tasty for soup!

Finely chop the dill and garlic

Mix everything: salt fish, dill and garlic. Let it stay in the fridge for 5-10 minutes

Enjoy your fish!!!
