I bought herring in a barrel and it was too salty... Made a little twist and it's a tangy, tender, tasty herring. And with mashed potatoes... with a shot of herring..... How happy!

  • Herring (cask) - 1 pc
  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Soy sauce - to taste
  • Mayonnaise - to taste
  • Mustard (from whole grains) - to taste

How to cook herring "tasty" step by step with photos


Peeling Herring.

I had a herring with caviar. Take out the caviar, peel it, cut it up and put it in a bowl.

Cut herring into fillets, cut into pieces and put into the pot.

Cut onion into half rings and add to herring.

Add soy sauce, mayonnaise and whole-grain mustard (optional).

Stir and leave to stand in the refrigerator for a few hours (overnight is best).

Place in herring pan, sprinkle with green onions. Very tasty!!!
