Tasty Herring

I bought herring in a barrel and it was too salty... Made a little twist and it's a tangy, tender, tasty herring. And with mashed potatoes... with a shot of herring..... How happy!
Ingredients for herring "delicious":

Peeling Herring. |

I had a herring with caviar. Take out the caviar, peel it, cut it up and put it in a bowl. |

Cut herring into fillets, cut into pieces and put into the pot. |
|
Cut onion into half rings and add to herring. |
|
Add soy sauce, mayonnaise and whole-grain mustard (optional). |
|
Stir and leave to stand in the refrigerator for a few hours (overnight is best). |
|
Place in herring pan, sprinkle with green onions. Very tasty!!! |
