Ingredients for cod in soft curd batter:

  • Cod - 600 g
  • Black pepper (ground) - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Salt - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Chicken egg - 1 pc
  • Potato starch - 2 tablespoon
  • Cottage cheese - 100 g
  • Kefir - 100 ml
  • Greens (onion, dill, parsley) - to taste
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 4 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 5 tablespoon

How to cook cod in soft curd batter step by step with photos

Remove fish from bones and cut into medium slices. Then put it in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper, stir and leave for 15 minutes.

Add salt, starch, cottage cheese and kefir to the egg. Whisk everything with a blender.

Finely chop greens and add to the mixture.

Add flour and mix well. Our batter is ready!

Roll the fish in the batter and put it in a heated frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry on low heat on both sides with the lid on.

Our tender fish is ready!!! Serve fish chilled!
