Thai style grilled scallops

Grilled scallops served with lime wedges, pineapple and honey.
Ingredients for Thai-style grilled scallops:

How to cook grilled scallops in Thai style step by step with photos

Defrost the scallops if needed (do not use oven or microwave). Preheat the grill pan and coat it with olive (sunflower) oil. |

Carefully place the scallops on a hot frying pan (with a little distance between them). Fry each scallop on all sides, giving it a nice striped pattern. |

Once all sides of the scallop have a nice orange hue, remove the pan from the heat. Arrange the scallops nicely on a plate. |

Let's move on to decorating our dish.
Take 2 slices of pineapple and put them next to the scallops. |
|
Next, decorate the plate with the lime slices.
Take a fresh lime. |
|
Cut the lime in half. |
|
Cut about 3 lime wedges, halving one of them. Decorate as shown in the picture. |
|
Arrange the whole thing on a plate. Then pour honey over the scallops and serve. Enjoy Enjoy!! |
