Ingredients for tilapia on skewers with zucchini:


  • Tilapia (filet) - 800 g
  • Zucchini (young) - 1 pc
  • Salt - to taste
  • Chili pepper (coarsely ground, dried) - to taste
  • Lemon peel - 1 teaspoon
  • Lime zest - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon
  • Garlic Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Mustard (spicy) - 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

How to cook tilapia on skewers with zucchini step by step with photos


Cut tilapia fillets into strips 2-2.5 cm wide.

Place the fillets in a bowl, salt to taste, add the lemon and lime zest, pepper, mustard, cinnamon and garlic. Stir and let stand for 30 minutes.

Slice the zucchini into thin slices with a paring knife.

Roll up the tilapia strips and wrap them tightly in a zucchini and secure the ends by threading them on skewers.

Heat a skillet well, greasing it with a little oil. Fry fish skewers on all sides until lightly crusted on each side, until tender.

Serve warm with white sauces.
