Ingredients for vegetable snack with fried lightly salted herring:


  • Herring (lightly salted fillet) - 2 units
  • Carrots - 2 pcs
  • Onion - 2 pcs
  • Tomato paste - 2 tablespoon
  • Water - 1/3 glass
  • Bay leaf - 2 pcs
  • Allspice - 2 pc
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt (to taste) - 1 pinch.
  • Black pepper (to taste) - 1 pinch.
  • Greens (to taste) - 1 bunch.

How to cook vegetable snack with fried lightly salted herring step by step with photos


Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Finely chop the onion and send it to the pan.

Grate carrots on a fine grater and send to onion, fry for 3-4 minutes

Add tomato paste, mix well

Add water and seasoning

Dice lightly salted herring fillets

Add cubes to vegetables, place lid on vegetables and simmer for 5-7 minutes.

Add shredded herbs, mix and serve. Enjoy!!!
