Good afternoon, I would like to offer you a simple variant of this appetizer. This form of serving in small glasses (verrins) - very common during aperitifs in France. I invite you to try verrine with avocado, cottage cheese, and smoked red fish. A very good combination!

Ingredients for verrine with red fish:


  • Avocados (ripe) - 2 pcs
  • Cottage cheese - 250 g
  • Sour cream - 2 tablespoon
  • Salmon (Any smoked red fish will do.) - 100 g
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Greens (for decoration)

How to cook red fish verrine step by step with photos


Werrin with fish. 1 layer. Mash the avocado (2 pieces) with a fork, if small pieces remain, no big deal. Add olive oil (1 tablespoon), lemon juice (1 teaspoon), salt and pepper to taste. Stir.

2 layer. Mash cottage cheese (250g) with fork, add sour cream (2 tablespoons), salt and pepper to taste, mix together.

3 layer. Chop fish (100g) finely. Layer layers in verrine (I have 4 100 ml layers) in the following order - avocado, cottage cheese, fish. Garnish with greens.
