  • Sour Cream (thick) - 3 tablespoon
  • Olives - 30 g
  • Hollandaise cheese - 60 g
  • Crab Sticks - 60 g
  • Puff pastry - 300 g
  • Chicken egg - 1 pc
  • Garlic - 1 clove

How to cook vol-au-vents with crab sticks step by step with photos


Thaw dough. Do not roll. Make two different sized dough pans. First cut out 12 larger circles.

Then cut a hole in six of them with the smaller mold.

Preheat oven. Place the pieces on a baking tray. Brush the larger one with beaten egg. Put a circle with a hole on top, also grease the top with egg. Place small circles cut out next to each other. Put in oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees.

Make stuffing from chopped olives, crab sticks, finely chopped garlic, 2/3 of grated cheese and sour cream.

Take the baked volovans out of the oven. Lightly press the bottom of the bun with your finger. Put stuffing, top with remaining grated cheese and put in the oven again until browned. Let the ready volovans cool and cover "Cover with lids" Out of the pastry.
