  • Rice (Kuban Mistral) - 200 g
  • Tomato - 1 pc
  • Sweet red pepper - 0.5 pc
  • Champignons - 10 pcs
  • Onions - 1 pc
  • Green onions - 3 bunch.
  • Eggplant - 0.5 pcs
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Curry (to taste)
  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon

How to cook Lenten snack "There's a spring in my soul" Step by step with photos

Pour the rice into a pan with boiling, salted water, bring to the boil and cover tightly. Cook over a low heat for 25 minutes until the rice has absorbed all the water.

Slice mushrooms into julienne strips. Slice onions into half rings. Pour 1 tablespoon of sugar in a pan with sunflower oil, add onion, then mushrooms, fry over low heat.

Cut eggplant into rings and fry in sunflower oil. Put the rice on a flat plate and press it down with your hand. I have chosen a circle shape for the appetizer. Place the eggplants on the rice.

Place diced tomatoes on top of the eggplants.

Then mushrooms and onions. Then tamp down the appetizer by hand.

On top of mushrooms - chopped green onions.

Then we end the snack with Kuban round rice. The sides of the snack are also covered with rice.

The post is spring, the spring is singing in my soul, so I decided to decorate the top of the snack with a butterfly, which I made using a stencil. I cut the butterfly out of paper, put it on the appetizer, sprinkled it with curry.
