My lover loves mushroom dishes, so I like to experiment with different ways to prepare them. One day I came across this simple recipe, which I decided to use for my debut on my favorite cookbook =)

Rinse mushrooms (I don't take very large) under running water and dry well.

Here is what we need for the batter. I've used wheat flour before, but this time I decided to try corn flour: it turned out even tastier.

Whisk the eggs well and add 1 tablespoon. spoonful of vegetable oil. Dilute the flour with beer and add it to the egg mixture. Add grated cheese, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly.

Heat the oil in a saucepan, I use a small cauldron. Dip each mushroom in batter and fry.

Then remove the mushrooms with a slotted skimmer and let the excess oil drain off. You can serve the battered mushrooms. :) They are still tasty even when cooled down. Advice: You can replace the beer with white wine, then the dish should get a more delicate flavor and aroma. I'll try it next time. :-*
