Battered Mushrooms

My lover loves mushroom dishes, so I like to experiment with different ways to prepare them. One day I came across this simple recipe, which I decided to use for my debut on my favorite cookbook =)
Ingredients for mushrooms in batter:

Champignons

Chicken egg

2 pcs

Wheat flour

Flour
(wheat or corn)

100 g

Light beer
/
Beer
-
250 ml
-
Hard cheese
-
100 g
-
Vegetable oil
(for batter and frying)
-
Salt
(to taste)
-
Black pepper
(ground)
How to cook mushrooms in batter step by step with photos

Rinse mushrooms (I don't take very large) under running water and dry well. |

Here is what we need for the batter. I've used wheat flour before, but this time I decided to try corn flour: it turned out even tastier. |

Whisk the eggs well and add 1 tablespoon. spoonful of vegetable oil. Dilute the flour with beer and add it to the egg mixture. Add grated cheese, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly. |

Heat the oil in a saucepan, I use a small cauldron. Dip each mushroom in batter and fry. |

Then remove the mushrooms with a slotted skimmer and let the excess oil drain off. You can serve the battered mushrooms. :) They are still tasty even when cooled down.
Advice: You can replace the beer with white wine, then the dish should get a more delicate flavor and aroma. I'll try it next time. :-* |
