Ingredients for mushrooms stuffed with lentil-chicken mousse:


  • Champignons (large) - 200 g
  • Chicken fillet - 150 g
  • Lentils (TM "Mistral" red) - 1/2 glass
  • Onions - 1/2 pc
  • Black pepper (to taste) - 1 pc
  • Salt (to taste) - 1 pc
  • Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
  • Sweet paprika (pinche) - 1 pc
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) - 2 tablespoon
  • Water - 1 glass

How to cook mushrooms stuffed with lentil-chicken mousse step by step with photos


Peel mushrooms, remove stalks. Put them in a dish and sprinkle with salt. Put in oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes until softened.

Cut remaining shanks from mushrooms into small cubes. Wash and dry chicken filet and cut into cubes about 2x2. Finely chop onion.

In a skillet, heat the oil, first fry the onion. When it becomes transparent add the mushrooms and fry all together for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add the chicken and fry until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.

Let's measure out the necessary amount of lentils.

Pour lentils into a frying pan, fry for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring. Add 1 cup of water and simmer over low heat for 10 to 12 minutes. Season with salt and pepper while cooking. Stuffing should be quite juicy with little liquid.

Whisk stuffing in blender and add turmeric for a nice color. If necessary add hot water.

Fill mushroom caps with ready-made mousse using a cooking syringe or a spritzer. Sprinkle paprika on top.
