  • Champignons (6-7 large mushrooms) - 300 g
  • Onions (1 piece) - 50 g
  • White dry wine - 50 ml
  • Cream (20%) - 100 ml
  • Butter - 70 g
  • Cream cheese - 100 g
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Parsley - 3 sprigs.
  • Bacon (sliced bacon) - 150 g
  • Salt - to taste
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon

How to cook mushrooms with garlic butter and cheese step by step with photos


Use large mushrooms for this appetizer. Cut out the stalks of the mushrooms and make a small indentation with a teaspoon inside each one.

Chop a small onion very finely and fry in oil.

Add the shredded mushroom stalks and the hollowed-out part of the mushrooms, and fry all together for another five minutes over medium heat.

Pour in the wine and leave it to evaporate a little so that the smell of alcohol disappears.

Add cream, turn down the heat and simmer until thickened. Remove from heat, cool.

Soft butter (I use butter TM "Ekomilk" 82.5%) mix with minced garlic, chopped parsley and grated cheese.

Add the cream-mushroom mixture to the cheese and butter mixture and mix until smooth. Taste the stuffing for salt, if necessary salt it.

Stuff the cap mushrooms with this stuffing. Do not spare the stuffing!

Wrap each stuffed cap with bacon slices.

Place the mushrooms in a suitable baking dish, hat side down.

Bake in preheated oven at 200°C for 15-20 minutes (until the cheese melts) Serve this appetizer hot. Done!
