Autumn is mushroom season! My family loves mushroom dishes, especially the ones made with this recipe. This is one of my daughters' favorites and delicacies! Flavorful, crispy medallions never stay on the table - they're gone in 10 minutes! They are good both hot and cold!

  • Oyster mushrooms (or caps of other mushrooms) - 700 g
  • Soy sauce (Kikkoman) - 4 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Black pepper (ground)
  • Chicken egg - 2 pcs
  • Cream (10%) - 200 ml
  • Wheat flour / Flour (for breading)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

My husband went to the woods one day and brought mushrooms - two buckets of opiates and a bucket of oyster mushrooms. The oyster mushrooms grew so pretty on an old fallen tree. So that's how they are.

I used to make a dish like this out of butter caps, red cap mushrooms, and large fall opethes. I usually pick small beech mushrooms for marinating, and of the overgrown ones, with a big cap, I make medallions. This time my husband brought a bucket of oyster mushrooms! Let me tell you that oyster mushrooms are very handy for making medallions! Made the first time with these mushrooms, and we all really liked it! So, wash the mushrooms and if you have not oyster mushrooms, then separate them from the stalks, leaving only the caps. Boil the caps in salted water for 10-15 minutes, from the boiling time. Flip them in a colander and let the water drain. Let cool .

While our mushrooms cool down, prepare the marinade. In a separate bowl mix cream, soy sauce, minced garlic and pounded black pepper. Pour this mixture into the mushrooms, mix gently so as not to damage the caps. Allow to marinade for about 30 minutes.

Now drain the marinade. There is no need to pour it out... it's a priceless mixture! Then it can be used to make some excellent savory baked goods. Make a puff pastry, or a cheese cookie, or make puff pastry tarts. In a separate bowl beat 2 eggs, pour the mixture into the mushrooms, and mix. Roll each cap in flour and fry both sides in oil until golden brown.

The medallions turn out so even and golden!

Place the medallions on a plate and sprinkle with greens. You can serve it up! Rumy, fragrant, with crispy crust and juicy inside... so tasty that you can't help yourself! Made these mushrooms for dinner. Served with mashed potatoes... very tasty! Wore this "delicacy" out in about 10 minutes!
