Ingredients for Greek Mushrooms:

  • Sunflower oil (with olive oil added "Oleina") - 5 tablespoon
  • Champignons (fresh) - 400 g
  • Seasoning ("bouquet garni") - 1 pc
  • Green onions (feather) - 4 pcs
  • Lemon juice - 5 tablespoon
  • Caraway - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper (peas) - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper Blend (freshly ground)
  • Dill
  • Water - 300 ml
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon

How to cook Greek mushrooms step by step with photos

Get a pan, pour water, put mushrooms in it "bouquet garni", Coriander, cumin, black pepper, salt, lemon juice. "Bouquet of garni" bunch of parsley, thyme, celery and bay leaves.

Add sunflower oil with olive oil "Oleina" and chopped green onions. Put on stove, bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes.

Wash the mushrooms, leave the small ones intact. I have very large, so I cut them into slices.

strain ready marinade, pour it on mushrooms and simmer for 10 minutes.

Take mushrooms from marinade with a slotted spoon or a slotted spoon, and boil the marinade by 2 times until it becomes a syrup.

Put mushrooms in a bowl and pour the boiled marinade over them. Let the appetizer cool. When serving sprinkle with freshly ground pepper mix and finely chopped dill greens. Enjoy!!
