Ingredients for Lentil Tortillas with Curried Mushrooms:

  • Lentils (TURKEY yellow chopped lentils from TM "Mistral") - 1 glass
  • Mashed potatoes - 1/2 glass
  • Chicken egg - 1 pc
  • Cornflour - 50 g
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 50 g
  • Salt - 1,5 teaspoon
  • Soda - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Mushrooms (forest) - 300 g
  • Cream (22%) - 200 ml
  • Curry - 1 teaspoon
  • Ghee - 3 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoon

How to cook lentil tortillas with curry mushrooms step by step with photos

Boil the lentils for 10 minutes and season with salt (0.5 teaspoon salt). For 1 part lentil, 2 parts water. I use yellow spiked Turkish lentils from TM "Mistral".

Grind boiled lentils in a blender and add 100 ml. cream.

Combine mashed potatoes, egg, lentils, baking soda, both flour. Mix with a whisk.

Heat both types of oil in a frying pan. Using a tablespoon, spoon out batter and fry tortillas on both sides for 2 minutes, over medium heat.

Prepare mushrooms. Wash and chop them and sauté for 10 minutes with 100 ml. .

Add 100 ml of cream. Sauté for another 5 minutes.

Season with salt and curry, stir to mix, then remove from heat.

Serve the tortillas with the mushrooms, adding the herbs. BON APPETIT!!!
