Ingredients for the snack of mushrooms baked on puff pastry:

  • Puff pastry (puff pastry ) - 250 g
  • Champignons (medium) - 16 pcs
  • Green onions (or turnip 1pc) - 1 pouch.
  • Bacon - 50 g
  • Black olives - 10 pcs
  • Hollandaise cheese - 100 g
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablepoon
  • Vinegar (Rice Kikkoman) - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper (ground to taste)

How to cook mushrooms baked on puff pastry step by step with photos

Wash mushrooms, dry. Peel mushrooms caps from skin, remove stem. Drizzle with soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and olive oil and season with pepper. Set aside to marinate.

Finely chop mushroom stalks and black olives, stir-fry with onion and bacon, season with pepper. Add garlic and herbs if desired. Salt to taste if necessary.

Stuff mushroom caps with stuffing.

Roll out the dough to the desired thickness, cut out circles with a cookie cutter slightly larger than the cap of the mushroom, put it in a baking dish, put the mushrooms on the dough.

Sprinkle mushrooms with grated hard cheese. Bake at 180° for 15-20 minutes. Serve this appetizer both hot and cold.

If the mushrooms are big, the caps can be boiled for a few minutes, so the appetizer looks nice. I cooked half a portion at first, I recommend following the recipe. And next time I want to try taking the halves of a small tomato and stuffing them with the same filling.
