Snack herring with hat

It's no secret that the best snack with vodka is potatoes, herring, pickles and mushrooms. So what could be better than an appetizer that combines all these products? Come in and help yourself!
Ingredients for appetizer herring in a hat:

How to cook herring in a hat step by step with photos

Wash the mushrooms and carefully separate the heads from the caps (so that they stay intact). |

Place the caps in a deep pan and sauté in vegetable oil over very low heat for about 15 minutes, covered with a lid. Then open the lid and let them cool. |
|
Finely chop the mushrooms and fry them in a pan, along with finely chopped onion. |
|
Boil the peeled potatoes, mash them with a fork and leave to cool. |
|
Add the mushrooms and onion legs to the mashed potatoes, and herring cut into small cubes. Pepper and salt as needed (depending on the herring). |

Fill the cooled caps with the mixture (I fill them with a heap and do it with a teaspoon). |
|
Put a cucumber slice on each stuffed cap, and a chili pepper stripe on it (but that's optional, of course). I serve on a plate lined with lettuce and garnish with canned corn and tomato slices. That's the beauty I get. |
